Why Choose BA Finish Stainless Steel?
If your project requires a highly reflective, clean appearance but is constrained by budget, the BA (Bright Annealed) finish is the perfect alternative to true mirror finishes. It provides a glossy, reflective surface at a more economical price point. Additionally, its high surface smoothness makes it highly resistant to dirt and exceptionally easy to clean.
BA Finish vs. Mirror No.8 Finish
- BA Finish: The shine is produced during the annealing process in a protective gas atmosphere. The surface is "bright and reflective," but the reflection might lack 100% optical clarity (slight cloudiness).
- Mirror No.8 Finish: The shine is achieved through extensive mechanical polishing. The surface provides a "deep and sharp" reflection, identical to a real glass mirror (Higher cost than BA).

- Interior decoration where extreme mirror clarity is not required.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Yes, in many cases such as high-elevation installations, machine parts, or appliances. However, for luxury interior designs where a sharp, distortion-free reflection is required, Mirror No.8 is highly recommended.
Grade 430 BA is excellent and cost-effective for indoor use. It offers a beautiful shine and is magnetic, making it popular for refrigerator doors. However, we do not recommend it for outdoor or high-moisture environments, as it has a lower corrosion resistance compared to Grade 304.
